September 27th 2015:

It's been a long while since I've written. I apologize for that, my life has been quite busy to say the least. Not only have I finished The Light in Your Heart book, but it is ready for print well all of it except for the cover at least... Since I have no time to do artwork on my own these days, I have delegated that project to one of my friends. I gave them my vision then told them to run with it. :-) I also finally turned over the last of the old novels to be republished under Walk of Faith LLC, and that was the first Ava Hill book, The Storm Within, that was the last one to be turned over into my care as far as a publishing company goes. On this reprint you will see two things: a brand new cover and fixing the timeline. We did not change the storyline at all. Of course, we just noticed that there was a mistake with one of the timelines. It was easily fixed, and we are now happy to be releasing it soon.  I must say I was highly frustrated with myself for not noticing the error sooner! The bookmark part of the business seems to be going quite well, and it's exciting to watch as some of my handmade bookmark ideas that are one of a kind seem to be a hit with my audience as well. The designs and ideas are not always mine, sometimes they are my mothers and other times they are designs created by friends, but we all enjoy coming up with new bookmark designs together, and I hope that part of Walk Of Faith LLC will continue to grow, as well as my novels, of course. Sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of proofs that await my editing attention stacked around the office. It is then that I have to gently remind myself that God is in control, and He is the one that allowed my hobby to turn into a job but in a good way :-). I am still doing the television and movie reviews for the Fans of Believe Picture Facebook page and website. Some days, in fact, I find myself praying that one day something like that will turn into a job. I rather enjoy doing it, whether it is volunteer or not. The Fans of Believe Pictures website is now a .com and I couldn’t have launched it at a better time. Our fans and readership on the Facebook site is growing. I'm hoping to reach new members as well now, with the website up and running. I worked on it for almost this entire last year before announcing it just a few weeks ago, after I posted my latest article on the movie Captive that Brian wrote the screenplay for recently. By the way, it's a very riveting movie. If you have not seen it, I suggest you find a local theater that has it! :-) Now where was I, I kind of got off on a rabbit trail for a minute... Oh yeah, the Ava books. I start my first round of edits on the 3rd Ava, Falling Stars, possibly as early as tomorrow. I must say it's exciting reading these new proofs of something I wrote back in 2009 in actuality...

I've been thinking about John Sanders lately. John is a main character in the Ava books. I had to laugh the other day, as I realized I started the Ava series being closer to Ava as far as her attitude, thoughts, and even some mannerisms, but I realized recently that I am now becoming more like John and that perspective so it will be fun to see who I’m most like when the series finally comes to an end which won't be for a while! :-)
